New Zealand FlagPersonal Philosophy

20 years of my life has been devoted to creating a safe outdoor environment while exploring, hiking, bushwalking, tramping, walking, trekking, backpacking, hiking amongst rivers, lakes, creeks, streams, mountains, bush, valleys, beach, forests and waterfalls, in our New Zealand backcountry.

You cannot beat the sound and silence in New Zealand outdoors. The sounds of fresh running water, native birds in songs, spectacular views and scenery whether it be coastal, bush, forests, rivers, lakes, beaches, high country, waterfalls, bluffs and mountains in remote areas of backcountry New Zealand. It is so peaceful.

Waking up to a dawn chorus of native birds in New Zealand Backcountry areas cannot be surpassed. Hearing a New Zealand kiwi calling in the distance at dusk as the sun goes down. A pair of native keas flying high above in Nelson Lakes in the summer cannot be beaten.
